Our First New Build
When asked why Stonehouse had chosen to develop in Solihull, Managing Director Steve Waugh said “It was a natural decision for us. Stonehouse pride themselves developing in some of the most desirable parts of the UK. Solihull really is a town in the countryside. Still quaint, the town is dotted with historic architecture including timber-framed Tudor houses and shops.
Nearly three-quarters of the borough is defined as Green Belt. Add to that Solihull is surrounded by picturesque scenery, with excellent transport links it also makes it a great location for commuters working in Birmingham and London. The beauty of building from the ground up is that we can design and create these stunning spaces without the constraints of working within an existing structure. It was an exciting time for the team who had a very clear vision of what they wanted to deliver, and that they most certainly did!”
The Development
Testament to Stonehouse’s attention to detail, the team put enormous emphasis on carefully selecting the finishing touches.
