Stonehouse

Case Study

Radisson Hotel Group, Leeds

Quality; stylish; in keeping; functional; all key requirements of The Radisson Hotel in Leeds City Centre when they asked Stonehouse to manufacture a new servery to their ground floor restaurant.

The building; an impressive venue with charm and character needed to be reflected in the over all design so as to compliment the existing features. The client required colour matching of existing finishes, hardwood, veneers and granite; not an easy ask as over time wood oxidises and changes in many ways. Not to be phased, Stonehouse sourced the right materials to meet the challenge!

Another contentious issue was to ensure that Stonehouse’s bespoke piece of furniture could house the specialist catering equipment chosen by the Radisson. Ventilation and power, were complex by nature but successfully overcome.

Working closely with DLG Architects to create the perfect concept, Stonehouse manufactured a beautiful piece of craftsmanship crafted in american cherry, stainless steel and black granite with an unusual polished bull nosed edge detail.
